This is a full day interactive course presented by the Green Building Council of South Africa and facilitated by Mr Colin Devenish, Executive Manager: Operations of the V&A Waterfront showcases greening and performance improving techniques for existing buildings. Participants are taught how to identify low cost and no cost improvements; optimise energy and water efficiency; implement sustainable purchasing and waste management policies; improve indoor environmental quality including maximising occupant’s health and comfort and implement green cleaning policies.
The course, is suited for architects, developers and owners, engineers, contractors, facility managers, property managers and tenants and also includes a free Existing Building Survival Strategy Guide developed by the Green Building Council of South Africa in conjunction with Arup.
