Seru Architects (Pty) Ltd is an architecture, green building consulting and property development firm. Our areas of expertise are residential apartment buildings, office buildings, warehouse and educational buildings. As experts in green building, we are committed to filling the gap between architecture and green buildings by embedding the principles of green buildings into all our designs and making good design decisions from the on-set to avoid costly compensation at a later stage during the documentation phase, construction phase or worse – after occupation.
Directorship
The company 100% black-owned and 100% woman-owned by Lomile Mokoka. She is the director and founder of Seru Architects with the following qualifications:
- Master of Business Administration (Gordon Institute of Business Science)
- Master of Architecture (University of the Witwatersrand)
- Certificate in Property Investment and Practice (University of the Witwatersrand)
She has extensive experience in the construction industry as a professional architect and green building consultant. She has the following professional accreditations:
- Professional Architects – South African Council for the Architectural Profession
- Green Star accredited professional – Green Building Council of South Africa
- Green Star Assessor – Green Building Council of South Africa
Services Offered
- Architecture – Seru Architects is regulated by the South African Council for the Architectural Profession. Our projects are subject to the rules, guidelines & fees gazetted by SACAP. Architectural fees are updated annually by SACAP.
- Green Building Consulting – Green building consulting fees are based on the size and type of building that will be submitted to the Green Building Council for a Green Star rating. The Green Building Council SA develops the Green Star SA rating tools to provide an objective measurement for green buildings in South Africa and to recognise and reward environmental leadership in the property industry.

Plant Hire – Seru Architects offers a wide range of plants to the infrastructure, construction & mining sectors with short term placements/long term contracts.
